Hosting a Garden Party 101
There’s no better way to celebrate the warm weather than with a garden party! Garden parties are perfect for birthdays, graduation, baby showers, bachelorette parties, or even just a girl’s night out! Here’s a few of our best tips for hosting a garden party at Wild Roots!
Choose the Right Date and Time
Texas heat can be brutal, avoid June/July/August to miss out on the extreme weather! Also consider hosting in later in the day, an hour or two before sunset when it’s cooler.
2. Theme and Decor
Utilize Pinterest to help brainstorm ideas and create a mood board! Don’t forget to ask about our rental options AND on-site decor available to event space renters! No garden party is complete without florals, one of our absolute favorite florists to work with is Evergreen Floral Studio. Another fun and affordable way to collect decor is to thrift pieces like tablecloths, candles, vases, and glassware!
3. Food & Drinks
You’ll want a menu that fits the casual and laid-back vibe of a garden party. Appetizers, finger foods, and cute desserts are always a safe bet!! Adding a snack cart to your garden party is such a fun and aesthetic experience for your guests, we love working with Arianna’s Snack Cart. She has options ranging from charcuterie carts to candy, and even mini pancakes! For drinks, you can’t go wrong with refreshing fruity cocktails, inquire with us about an on-site bartender!
4. Entertainment
At Wild Roots, we have SO MANY entertainment options for you and your guests! Plunge pools, an inflatable movie screen, cornhole, and even pickleball! Everything you need for a memorable and fun garden party! Ask about our amenities and entertainment rental options for your party!
